Welcome to 2021 ECHO 360,
On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my great pleasure and privilege to cordially invite you to the 2021 ECHO 360 Structural Heart Imaging symposium will be held in Conrad, Seoul, Korea from October 30th(Sat) to 31st(Sun), 2021.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic travel restrictions, we held last year’s ECHO 360 symposium in a combination of virtual & offline format for the first time in history. Even though it was not an in-person meeting, the conference featured a high-quality scientific program and brought together 1006 registrants from 23 countries. It is without doubt that ECHO 360 has become the standard of structural heart disease imaging.
The 5th ECHO 360 Structural Heart Imaging symposium promises to share various academic knowledge of Structural Heart Imaging and make it a place of active communication where leading experts will educate using actual cases on how to use cardiac imaging, echocardiography as well as basic knowledge on structural heart diseases. Furthermore, we will be preparing a platform for discussion regarding the diagnosis and treatment of valvular disease, consisting of Heart team members with surgeons, interventionists and imaging specialists.
We believe that the 2021 ECHO 360 Structural Heart Imaging will be the place that brings innovation and further advancement of Structural Heart Imaging on a scientific level, with world-renowned scholars from Europe, North and South America, as well as Asia-Pacific region. We thereby ask for your interest and help so that 2021 ECHO can firmly establish itself as the place to share your up-to-date knowledge and strengthen the network in the field of Structural Heart Imaging.

전례 없는 코로나바이러스감염증 발생으로 인해 2020년 ECHO 360 심포지엄이 최초로 온∙오프라인 하이브리드 형식으로 개최되었습니다. 비록 모든 선생님들을 대면으로 만나 뵙지는 못하였지만, 온라인으로 함께 소통하며 23개국 1,006분이 참석한 명실상부한 구조심질환 영상분야 최대의 학술의 장으로 자리매김하였습니다.
올해 5회차를 맞이하는 2021 ECHO360 심포지움은 Structural Heart Disease의 다양한 학술적 지식을 공유하고, 기초 지식들에 대한 교육뿐만 아니라 심초음파를 비롯한 심장영상 이용방법의 실제 증례들을 활용한 교육을 통해 다시 한번 전문가들의 교류의 장을 마련하고자 합니다. 특히 올해는 최근 관심이 집중되고 있는 심장판막질환의 진단과 치료에 있어서 Surgeon, interventionist, Imaging specialist들이 heart team의 구성원으로 함께 모여 의견을 나눌 수 있도록 준비하고자 합니다.
아시아 태평양 지역뿐 아니라 유럽, 중남미 지역 등 세계적으로 저명한 전문가들과 함께 국내에서 왕성한 활동을 하고 계시는 선생님들을 연자 및 패널로 모셔, Structural Heart Imaging 분야에 대한 지식 및 이해를 높여 실제 진료와 연구에 도움이 될 수 있는 자리를 마련하고자 합니다. 이번 2021 ECHO 360 심포지움에서 보다 앞선 지식을 공유하고, 함께 소통하며 교류하는 유익한 자리가 될 수 있도록 많은 참석 부탁드립니다.
